Spine ends, corners and bottom edges show moderate wear, spine gilding is excellent, cover pastedown has one long surface scratch otherwise fine. There is one hole in the front gutter cloth. DJ has chipping, tears in first 1/4" to 1/2" at spine ends and corners-repaired & reinforced with Japanese tissue & archival glue. DJ pastedown shows moderate rubbing in spots.
